Sharp is a Rochester native who studied clarinet at the Hochstein School of Music. She also played piano and cello. Sharp was awarded a full tuition grant towards The Boston Conservatory for her enthusiasm in school theatre. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Sharp set her goal to perform on stage. Sharp played in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with the playwright August Wilson himself. Alongside her performances in stage and screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she has written or co-written. In addition to performing, she is currently making an album. Sharp, who is often in front or behind camera and in the recording studio for music, also loves staying in shape. Sharp studies Krav Maga as well as boxing. Sharp likes to play piano, hike and take lengthy road trips. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
