Anna was born into a family that was difficult. Her new life was difficult, and she had to adjust to it. It's not something a child should go through. Jim Rawson, her father, turned out to be an extremely important friend and someone who she formed an intimate relationship with. Jim Rawson was a former footballer in Glenelg, and they were both passionate about the sport. Anna acknowledged that playing golf came about because she was looking forward to spending more time with her father and her brother after the loss of their mother. Then she realized that golf is something she loves (and the cute golfers certainly helped!) Anna began playing golf when she became depressed over the death of her mother. Her skill improved and her hobby soon became a job. This is a great wish! Rawson was a student at St. Martin Boarding School and later completed her education via the homeschooling method. Anna Rawson is among the first to admit that her decision to attend school was more because of sheer naivete and not logical thinking. Anna was offered numerous scholarships which included Yale as well as Harvard. She picked Immanuel College because of the better weather in Southern Australia.
