Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. She is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta from her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. She inherited her father's interest in theatre from an early stage. While a student at Emory University he appeared in various productions both in and outside of the campus. When he was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was commissioned into the Air Force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. The couple got married in 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after the couple had left the Air Force of the United States. Walter began his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of the local children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which lasted about six years. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
